Problem Note 63320: SAS® Federation Server does not translate the DATE format as documented for a view (DSN=BASE) created from database tables
If you create a BASE Data Service that references a view created from database tables, you might not see the format stored for the database columns. For example, date columns should be translated to Base SAS® columns with the DATE9 format when you run the CONTENTS procedure. In this scenario, the date column shows a number and it is an incorrect value.
